The quarterly audit
The only intervention on this site that you do to yourself, and the only one nobody else can do for you. List your five strongest one-sided ties, score joy and cost, keep three, mute one, trade one hour a week toward a person in the room.
Not a cure and not a diagnostic. A rebalancing, done badly, about four times a year. It exists because the seventh law is the only part of the field that is actually yours, and because the numbers - one to ten, twice - make a feeling arguable.
Application. One-sided attachment put to work on purpose. Creator economies, community, fandom as infrastructure, and the things that genuinely help people. Not automatically good - a tool with an obvious use is a tool that will also get a bad one.
Consideration. The part where somebody stops and thinks. The research, the diagnosis, the ethics, the lawsuits, the regulators. Roughly fifty years of arguing with itself about whether this is a relationship.
